On August 14, 2026, a delegation of VASI member companies visited and had a working session with Panasonic System Networks Vietnam (PSNV).
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Iwamura, General Director, together with the PSNV management team. The visit provided an opportunity for VASI members to gain practical insights into Panasonic’s management practices, production systems, and technology solutions applied at its factory.
A key highlight was Panasonic’s sharing of its production planning, smart warehouse management, and real-time production management systems, which are developed and implemented in-house. Panasonic also expressed its interest in connecting with Vietnamese companies that may benefit from these solutions.
🤝 Potential areas of cooperation between VASI and Panasonic include:
- Organizing factory visits and management knowledge-sharing activities for VASI members.
- Supporting capability development for Vietnamese supporting industry companies.
- Connecting Panasonic with potential local suppliers and supporting the development of its supplier network in Vietnam.
📚 During the visit, VASI presented Panasonic with two books, “Building a Lean Culture” and “The Toyota Way” — symbolizing a meaningful “return home” of Japanese management philosophies that have been adopted, practiced, and further promoted among Vietnamese businesses through VASI’s Lean Enterprise Network.
The visit marked a positive step toward stronger cooperation between Panasonic, VASI, and Vietnam’s supporting industry community, with the shared goal of strengthening business capabilities and developing local supply chains.
