IATF16949:2016 consulting package for 3 VASI’s SME members

Starting early November under the contract with USAID LinkSME project to provide IATF16949:2016 consulting package, 3A consulting company began working with 3 SMEs who are VASI members selected to join the activity. Such certification is an essential requirement for companies seeking to become long-term suppliers in the automotive sector. In the duration of 8 months, the consultants will execute the necessary visits, training courses, detailed guidance and trial assessment to the SME to prepare for official assessment by third party. All of them expect certification by Jun 2023.

On 11 and 14 Nov 2022, the project consultant conducted a gap assessment of SME Me Tran Binh Xuyen’s quality management system according to IATF 16949:2016. Later in Nov, the assessments were performed at SME Innotek and Bach Tung.

On Dec 05-06, USAID LinkSME consultants conducted a training course of 2 core tools of Measurement System Analysis and Statistical Process Control to SME Innotek’s staff. The training was delivered in combination of knowledge, exercises and recommendation for real mini projects to be conducted onsite. This is the first part of the core tools training series in which the later part will be conducted in Jan 2023.

On Dec 08-09, the consultant organized the IATF 16949:2016 awareness training course and guidance for document preparation to SME Me Tran Binh Xuyen and similarly to SME Bach Tung on Dec 12-14.
